FAQs

  • Clients are expected to be punctual for their sessions, and late arrivals after 15 minutes from their sessions start time will be charged the full session fee. Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours notice via text, phone call or email, and late cancellations or no-shows will be billed the full session fee.

  • I recommend atleast once a month for general aches, pains and relaxation. For more active, athletic or disabled individuals I recommend bi-weekly sessions.

  • Cupping is a non-invasive massage therapy technique using suction to pull the muscles and fascia, this feeling can differ from each client such as; tingling, tightness, itchy or pulling but should never be painful. After 60 seconds of the cups being applied to the skin the feeling should subside and you will feel muscle tension relief.

With the marks/bruising it generally subsides anywhere from 4-7 days, staying hydrated and stretching will speed up the healing process.

  • Not at all, you will be draped with the sheet at all times besides the part I will be working on. It is recommended that bras/sports bras are removed so I can treat the back.

I offer a safe space for those in the LGBTQ+ community. For my Trans individuals that may or may not have had gender reaffirming surgery we will discuss any of the following; scarring, post op healing, mental and physical concerns they may have with confidentiality.

  • I will do a brief verbal intake of your concerns such as pain management, relaxation and any areas you want me to avoid. Then you will be instructed to lay face up or down on the table under the top sheet & blanket and undress to your comfort level (keeping your underwear on is completely your option, you will be draped the entire time so nothing is exposed other than what I will be working on). I will leave the room for a few minutes for you to get comfortable and adjust anything you need then I will ask if you are ready and enter the room while adjusting the sheet and bolster to your comfort.

During the session I will do a check in on pressure.

  • Sure!

Everyone is different and utilizes these treatments as they need. Some clients are more talkative and like to chat during their sessions or some may doze off and fall asleep…either way I still continue with my work as normal.

  • Absolutely!

This is your time to relax and unwind, you are more than welcome to request that we keep talking to a minimum.

  • I recommend staying hydrated, take a brief walk, eat a nutritious meal and maybe have a nap!

You can however work out but listen to you body and do not over do it, stretching is also important.

  • Please let me know of any health concerns or disabilities you have and I will accommodate with what is in my scope of practice. I can refer you to someone that specializes in a specific profession. Otherwise, I do not discriminate and offer massage to all individuals.

  • Gratuity is not included in the service price. I strive to offer affordable health care so tipping any amount is appreciated!

  • We do not ofer walk-in’s at this time.
